Built towards the end of the l8th century, it was the property of the Pedroso Family, which belonged to the Havana oligarchy, and was the promoter of the Western Railroad. Today, it’s devoted to promote the Mexican history and culture through interesting collections, as well as to explaining the friendly bonds between Cuba and Mexico. It is the seat of the "Alfonso Reyes" specialized library, with more than five thousand texts on the sister nation.
